Men's Mental Health Week event

14 Jun 2022 by PJFC President (Rob Spurr)

One of Parkside’s own – Luke Edwards is performing this Friday at the Alphington Bowls Club. See the information below if you are interested in attending to support this worthy cause.

This is Real – Friday 17 June at Alphington Bowls Club.
An evening of community and connection, all designed to help the men in our lives get a little more real. For the first time, local artist, educator and facilitator Luke Edwards will perform his raw and intimate poems and songs, while creating space for reflection and conversation. Come to listen to real stories, engage in real conversation and walk away with some skills and practices to be a bit more real in your life. Yes, this focuses on men, but we need our female partners, friends and family to be there too!

This is Real is part of Men’s Mental Health Week, 13-19 June 2022.
