Finals week 1
This week we have 7 teams representing Parkside which is an outstanding achievement for our community club (see file attached or YJFL website for schedule).
This time of year can produce a dramatic uplift intensity due to the knock-out nature of the competition structure. With that in mind it’s a great time to reinforce our club values across all players and supporters and in particular focus on RESPECT for our teammates, opposition and officials. Let’s remember to play and support the Parkside way.
Good luck to all teams and I hope to see a sea of red and white support at Telfer Reserve, Bulleen Park, Binnak Reserve and WT Peterson oval on Sunday.
AGM September 25
Following finals and presentation nights, we will be holding our AGM on September 25th. Parkside JFC benefits from having a motivated parent group, with committee renewal an important way to keep the club rejuvenated and professionally administered.
I’m keen for 3 or 4 new committee members from our younger age groups to step up this year as a few of our committee have completed extended terms.
